The Airmanship Foundation partnered with Do Good Bus and Together We Rise to give a handful of kids a one-of-a-kind experience at the Mojave Air & Space Port.
The Do Good Bus organized a trip to the desert for a handful of kids from Together We Rise. Together We Rise is a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the way youth navigate the foster care system.
Before loading up for plane rides, pilot representatives from TAF spoke to the kids about their journey into aviation and their love for flight. Highlights included a Q&A with the kids and an encouraging story from one of the pilots about being bad at math in high school.
It was a great day of firsts!
